Did you get the right mem location table for the version of the client your using.
If your using client 4347 its at the end of the thread, 4346 is at the beginning of the thread.

The mining functions aren't very safe. Its not a big deal, But I had two level 40 miners, on seperate computers, botjailed for running the mining functions in com8. Its a great program, dont get me wrong! Its awsome! I just recommend that noone use the mining functions.

I think it was caught because of the auto right click function which I was running on both miners. With the timer soo exact its easily detectable, I suggest you put some randomization into that timer, so it is no longer exact.
The right click time was always random within 30 seconds to 2 minutes
and now the user can set their own base time to which a random factor is added.

I run many miners and never been bot jailed.
Were you running a dc on blue/red names program,
as thats more likely to be the problem.
Anyone else had this problem with m8 ?
TY for the feedback I will continue working on making it less detectable. [/b][/quote]
Well I was running my own version of qoproxy, but I didn't have !automine enabled so it shouldn't have interfered at all. And no, no dc on pker tool.

Minor bug report (havent tested the login, will do so tonight after server maint) I noticed the char login looks like this when it is above the GUI. However it works perfectly when it is below the GUI. Oh and the help balloons are below the GUI, even when it is sitting by my click and they are not visible.

Suggestions:
Why not a docking feature, if you want a good challenge, i heard that to get a window to dock was a challenge. like dock it in the lower corners or upper corners yet not along the whole screen. That way when you shrink the GUI lines you wont have to move it.
Another suggestion is a close client button, maybe ctrl+shift+ the disconnect button or something to where it will close the highlighted client or end its task. That could be a nifty feature too.

But if you dont want to put more time into it then no biggie.

The Rorrim is lazy, I admit it

Well I'm sure the moderators had their reasons for the new unpinned tread system.
In my personal opinion it was a bad idea, many important and innovative treads are now buried in the general noob crap and this leaves myself and many other developers with little or no incentive to continue our work. As for myself I will no longer continue developing my projects at this point since its now a waste of time. Thanks to all of of you who supported my work in the past.
I have to agree with the fact that unpinning is a bad idea, but lets waste and see.

As for Stopping. don' stop. CO2M8 is excellent and I know a lot of people use it.
For myself I just started using it now although I have seen it for a long time now, finally checked it and found out it is an amazing tool.

Keep it up dude and +k for your awesome contributions and innovative mind.

Edit**
Noticed that when I shutdown CO2m8, it stays resident in the memory, so I have to end task as it doesn't allow me to reopen it unless I end first.

p.s. Excellent tool. I like it more by the minute.

TY, TY. As it happens the latest kafufle with the game has renewed my interest in the project so I will be building it up a but more while I have the time.

Your problem I suspect is that you left clicked on the Min/Close button this puts M8 in the systray, need to right click to close it.
05/02/2007 10:57 raptordin#96
Good that you are interested again in this project.

I did right click it and chose exit, but it stayed in the tasks.
I even tested it without having any conquer client opened, and the same outcome.

I don't have any complaints as it is already an excellent tool, but if fixed it would be better.

p.s. I am an IT admin, and I am sitting behind 3 layers of firewalls (hardware and software) (this protected me from ProProxy, would have been screwed) . Patched and updated Windows XP pro. Don't think that this matters but thought I should mention it any way.

Not sure what the problem is in that case, no one has ever reported that issue b4.
Could be systray unloading routine under xp pro or something,
new version coming next few hours where I will be testing a alternate exit routine, let me know if that fixes it.

It also used to Hang my comuter for 30 - 40 secounds after the third client. but when I canceled the option to defeta DMA it stoped doing that. maybe this is the trick. will do more research and get back.

Whats new
I decided to add Rorrims excellent suggestions and so I added sticky window docking in the winamp style.
I also added a quick close client feature press ctrl+1 to ctrl+9 to close that client number, this feature is in test mode so you need to enable it in the M8 configuration screen.
Finally various bugs fixes including a attempt to fix raptordin close program issue.

Great Update Thanks again.

Couple suggestions for additions.
These would make this an all in one for me.
DC Tool, Disconnect on Full inventory or Specified Number or slots left, Renamer.

Thanks again for all the great and fast updates!!! +k

Cool docking, I was thinking winamp style but wasnt sure exactly what program it was that had that. Sweet close feature, automatic ftw! :bandit:

Tho I still need to remove the dummy char, ah well, least the login is automatic :D thanks

I'll second that DC Tool suggestion - where I could give it a list of names to DC on (damn mine pkers). And the last to make it an all-in-one for me is DC on low durability. +10 karma for both of these. :)

Append on May 2 2007, 23:28
I have one machine that everything's working fine on (that I've tested) and another that's giving me an "Error In Screen Pos Routine" as soon as I start the program. I'm using the 4347 global file and 1.1.2

It was not the DMA defeat.
I remove th conquer.exe file for version 4.347 and put in place the one for 4.346.
Now with the new DLL files and the old conquer it is super. excellent.

So it was a conquer.exe problem and not CO2m8 problem. excellent work.

Now o test the new version.

:)

another +k for you dude.
