News a TQ game released :D

CT Server will take alot of work on the part of the people currently working on be patient people we will figure it out and let you know how it goes

So its basically a Maplestory/Eudemons online game? The shopping mall items look like it, and the way the game is set up, looks like EO.:pimp:

so far so well with the server a little issues to over come but all is going well for it. no ETA for the first CT server release but working diligently.

its basicly a mix of eo and co
you can jump and a few items are from co , and you have pets like eo

for me is it a mix of co and eo :d

some persones does think differend over it , but it depends what you reconise of the game

no the files dont really work without some heavy reconfiguring. And why do you need to try this game out? You cant grasp the concept of the EO server and database, why attempt another game you have no clue on? Seriously i aint trying to be insulting but you need to lean of the games before you can attempt to make a server of them. and you need a net connection higher than dial up.


UPDATE On THE CT SERVER

all of the team have been sorta busy with IRL. However we are making progress. There still are a few bugs that need to be iron out before we can go live for even alpha testing. Please do NOT ask to be an alpha tester, we will contact those who we feel can handle the responsability and do the job not screw around and play.

If you know nothing of EO, then sadly you should stick to learning for now. CT may seem a lot like Eo, but at this moment the pure amount of bugs in it is over whelming. You need to have a pretty good knowledge of the server files before you even think about looking into fixes these bugs.

Sadly, not everything we know we are willing to share. Some of us have taken months to learn certain aspects of the game. Take the action codes for example, there are certain ones that aren't released to the public. If we all shared everything we knew, every server would be the same.


Take the Revodb for example, it was one of the most advanced released db's out there, now we have everyone releasing their server with default configurations without actually fixing the existing bugs. Such as legion war, booths, castles and the list goes on.


Now if you're looking for me to release any of the Ct stuff, good luck. That is one thing I will not release as its still a work in progress. I still stick by that you need to do trial and errors. Try things out, if they fail, re-try. Eventually you will get it.


As for why people don't help much anymore, its because almost every question thats been asked in the last 6 months have been asked over and over. It tends to get on our nerves when we are asked multiple times about things. Good luck with your Eo development, but sadly I won't help people who ask questions upon questions.

Eurion is right, most of us dont bother shairing with anyone anymore because every one of you newer people want everything handed to you rather than you doing any of the work yourself. "i want this" "I want that" "Tell me how to fix it" You dont think those of us who have been here for a while are not tired of you all asking the same questions because your too lazy to look for an answer.

Guy, I'm not asking you for share your files.

Only asked if he took the files at the beginning of the topic, which are a Chinese forum, that is ... None of you are the owner!

And talking about Eudemons DEADPOLL came and I have no ability to create a server because I can not resolve bugs. And if I'm asking for help is because I really need. I'm not like others who took the files and made a totally buggy server, I am trying to solve them ... But expect to have a minimum help, as someone to provide a file of 17 Kbytes for I do not have to download 900MB and aproveiar only 17 Kbytes of it.

I know it's hard yes, or you think I share files from my Aion Server? The basics everyone already has, I participate in the forum, which they edit. But I always try to help with questions ... Or even uploading 300MB to avoid a poor noob (like me) to solve a 12GB download simple bug!

I never once said you asked me to share my files, because sadly even if you had, I wouldn't. Not only do I have many hours of editing put into my files, Ive spent alot of time gaining what I know about Eo from trial and error.

As for the fix for the levelexp.dat problem, sadly you're going to have to wait for someone else, I refuse to upload a file from another client.

Now onto the CT server which this topic is about. If you bothered to follow the discussion here, you would have noted that NO you can't just download the files and get them working, they take a lot of editing, which brings us back to the part of where you should know your way around the files.

So my advice is to keep learning about Eo before you even attempt to get CT running.
