Quick suggestion, that will save you a lot of time...
As long as the decrypt-app isnt location specific, just make a duplicate of the main folder, copying it to another spot on your HD (if you have the room, otherwise just copy the folder/files you are directly working with).
I don't play this specific game, but this applies to all things when editing/modifying/decrypting... so unless you want to be the next top thread that says "Help! My blahblah.ini file is corrupt", remember simple preventative steps you can take to save you time and give you peace of mind :P
