seriously man, this is going to happen every time CO2 patches you know - so just do it yourself, its not that hard :rolleyes:

had dl a hex editor and try searching for the ascii line > Fps:%d but was returned with string not found
correct me if im wrong is to find the ascii line from the file conquer.exe rite?

any idea why im not able to find the string?

to mod the exe your self go to offset x1663f4
and change that bit and the following bits
from
" 45 6e 67 6c 69 73 68 " = " English "
to
" 43 68 69 6e 65 73 65 " = " Chinese "
you will ned a hex editor to do this get a free one from downloads.com if your to lazy to get a hex editor your to lazy to do this dont wast your time or not smart enough

I wouldn't bother doing it since I am updating every time a new exe comes out.

Yea, its conquer.exe. (Note for anyone new who cant be bothered reading the other threads: you then need to use play.exe to launch CO just like usual). umbro, at a guess I'd say you probably arent finding it cos you aren't using an editor like cygnus which can work with both hex and ascii?

However smegain above also tells you what to look for if you can only display the hex values - just scroll up a bit. Or like the man says just dl the file after he's updated it. :D Just dont ask for updates the second TQ patches, when you can do it yourself, cos[img]text2schild.php?smilienummer=1&text=I h8 that' border='0' alt='I h8 that' />

ok for people that don't know how to use it, do what it says and run play.exe

2nd is any else having a problem with the 3rd and 4th client running up their ram use 3 times faster than the first 2
Any ideas below is some of the settings
Image name user name CPU Mem Useage
Conquer.exe ************ 08 127,676k 3rd client
Conquer.exe ************ 05 200,344k 4th client
Conquer.exe ************ 18 71,652k 1rst client
Conquer.exe ************ 13 70,388k 2nd client

while i was typing this out both the 3rd and 4th client went up 7,000k in mem useage
All setting are with all 4 charcters in TG

Just got done installing dragon's latest

problem seems fixed
everything running between 10-20 CPU
and 40,000K-46,000K mem usage
