ACME Crafting BOT

Small update, working on the code to auto-generate formulas from data, with pretty graphics if possible (I'll post them!).

hey acme, just came by to say thanks for all the work.
its running great on win 10 x64. it doesn't take that long to setup and isn't that hard but can be a bit confusing at first, especially since i play on gamepad so i never really messed around with keybinds before this really. a short "read me" file for idiots like me with a quick step by step setup process, along with the info on the main post wouldn't hurt. would also be interesting to know the rotations the app uses and be able to modify those to our own in the future (unless its in there and i haven't found it, just the xml files with recipes, code and etc) anyways, thanks and keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback, I will try to write more descriptive instructions.

Really small update with just some fixes. I haven't had much time to work on new stuff.

Hey Acme, I've started using specialist skills a lot recently and I noticed that sometime the program will randomly crash at the end when it does byrogots and has to do Nymelia's wheel to restore durability.

Now I wasn't sure if I should report that since it happens so randomly, sometimes it works for 100 crafts and then sometimes it will crash 2 times in 5 crafts.
On the other hand I've never seen it crash on my normal jobs, only specialist and in that moment when it does Bryogots blessing and goes to restore durability with the Nymeia's wheel skill. (I will get 100% quality, but not restore the durability since it crashes there)

There's no warnings or errors really, all it says is program has stopped working, and it closes.

Just wanted to say thanks for this great bot. I've been using it for a few days now and it's doing the job just like it should. Awesome stuff =).
(No problem noticed on win8.1 x64 btw)

I took a look can't find anything wrong, you get a crash before any synthesis gain is done? (I did my red scrips with specialist class no problem here)

The crash thing will be fixed with this next version (oops).

I improved low level item making (wastes less time), and found somewhere in the code where it was supposed to be AND instead of OR, so the program is CONSIDERABLY faster, just be careful if you set CPU load to +150, you will actually run out of memory for a 32 bit application (around 2gb) if you have like 400CP (trying to increase memory limit of app).

Update up, crafted like 120 foods of recipe level150- food got something like 117 HQ + 10 level 160 foods just to try it out, went pretty well with my shitty gear, I had 8 out of 10 HQ, not too bad, but could use some work some times it's pretty inefficient, but the good news is the model is right for those so if you guys wanna try it out with some good gear, there's tons of money to be made (they're selling for 80-120k) :)

I decided to try craft again, but now when I click start it says Key:None is an invalid key.

Abilities and jobs I don't have are all with key "None" and I don't know what key to change them to. It was that way last time I tried and I didn't get the error.

program is not working due to patch needs an update

updated for patch

Yea that's why I was skeptical about reporting that because it happens soooo randomly, and then sometimes it can go for 100+ crafts with no problem on specialist, it's very weird.

Thanks for the update!

Well, we can force the program into a certain state, and just see what the algorithm gives back!

I just need the string on skillselector like
"Jellyfish HumourscLvl:50ItemLevel:19 Step 7 Condition:Normal(1) DUR:10/40 PRO: 0/34 QUA:982/982 CP: 174/297 BControl:254 CControl:406 Craftsmanship:256 IQSt: 3 WhSt:0
SH1:-8 SH2:1 CZ:4 MN:-8 WN1:-8 WN2:-8 IN1:-8 IN2:-8 GS:-8 INN:-8 IQ:994"

that happens right before the crash.

This program is such a God send. At first i picked it up to mass produce materials, but now i realized its better to use this with GC/Blue script dailies, and equipment you're going to wear (even more-so if you have hard to get materials) as this program is undoubtedly smarter then humans when it comes to knowing what skill to use at what time.

Unfortunately, that leads me to my problem here. I was trying to make 20 Dragon Leathers, but for some odd reason, it keeps blowing up the CP really really fast. I looked at my log, and the culprit for the CP difference was 'tricks of the trade'. I'm guessing the program thought there was a bunch of 'good' procs or something when there really wasnt.

Furthermore, i dont know if it was fixed, but a while back, there was a craft in CRP somewhere, i dont remember which one it was, i want to say it was a bow, but i cant remember. Basically, when i started the program, it would cycle up through the Recipe Level pages and continue like that in loop. It could never find the recipe it was looking for. It was a GC daily, that's all i remember.

Edit: Ok, now it happened randomly with 1 Dragonskin Breeches of Scouting (collectable). Also, i'm not sure it matters, but its always getting stuck on Rapid Synthesis. But i dont think that's relevant. I think the program is just falsely detecting 'good' qualities.

The CP difference is more likely due to it pressing a wrong button, you can tell which button it pressed wrong when you see the cp difference ( the skill right before it happens), it's better to use alternative hotkeys on the program, for example don't use 2 and CTRL+2, use instead 2, then set an alternative hotkey for your ctrl+2 skill such as S, or numpad0-9, or home anything really that isn't bound to another skill without a modifier, having ALT+0/CTRL+0/SHIFT+0 is fine, as long as just ZERO isn't bound, these type of errors happen more often when you have low FPS.

The not finding a recipe issue was fixed, this was due to me thinking you needed a master book I before you acquired Master Book II.

Ty for the feedback :), and you're right for most of the items it's better than a human, the last algorithm should make it better across the board. RIP HUMANS.

Here some logs if they help, from crafting some 58 nuggets
also added some normal logs in case you see something "weird" since I had "hiccups" on the usage of Manipulation and had often to use it manually since it wasn't progressing for a minute.

Just a problem with hotkeys from that log, I will add the error message for the next version, it thinks it used MANI, but it used hasty touch.

Edit: These logs mostly help me spot algorithm problems, won't help much with solving any issues the program has in interacting with the game sadly.

Bumperino, updated.
