Well, I tried to do it but it didnt work.
Said I didn`t meet all the requirements for the reward of something like that.

I just wanted some help and you didn't responded to my message...now you won't release it...great. :(

Of course you cant edit your gladiator to lvl 190 and get the event items...that would be too lame :) You can use it for entering dungeons :)
