Shadow,
I found another bug.

If we run the protected exe through another active folder, it will exit with no message or with general protection fault error message.

Example:

c:\>d:\my-protected-script.exe

It will just exit or display the GPF error.

So we should run it this way:

c:\>d:
d:\>my-folder>cd\
d:\>my-protected-script.exe

This is a problem if we run our protected script through BAT file or through a scheduler. Please fix it.

I'm a bug finder. You dont hate me for that, do you? :p

Are you sure sou are using newest version?
07/26/2013 14:32 superman8855#96
Yes, I'm 100% sure. I fact, I just tried it again and get the same result.
This time I get: myscript.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

WinXP, same with Win7

Oh yes I think I know why this occurs because the program searches for itself in the active folder and if it is not avaible it cannot be run. And if you do not change the active folder the program will not be found. I do not know if this is fixable but I will try.

Is the following solution ok?

Lets say we are at the moment here:
Quote:
C:
and our script is there:

Quote:
C:\Programs\script.exe
is it ok that we copy the script.exe from
Quote:
C:\Programs\script.exe
To
Quote:
C:
when using bat or if file could not be found?

If yes this would be a really easy way to fix that problem if no I think I would have to change the AutoIt-Interpret and this will take much longer.

I dont think that will work if the script rely on other files on that folder, for example rely on the INI file. Also, I'm not sure it will work if the script have some kind of auto update feature

Yeah will take a bit because everything what I want to implement is on some way hard to implement. Especially the FileInstall-Problem it seems to that the File gets encrypted and saved inside the script really strange thing.

So it will take some time. ;)

What if you release the next version that fix the working directory problem and another next version on FileInstall if FileInstall still need some time? :)
