How to: Open .pak files

i can't find a proper xml editor program that can open and edit the "Clients_Item.xml" any suggestion??

Could someone give me the files from Sounds.pak here, please?

Can some one unpack this file i added, its from rift, usest the gamebyro engine, same as warhammer online. but i have no idea how they packed the game files, this tool seems not to be working, says the file has incorrect signature.

Would somebody tell me what could be done with following:
I followed [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] instaling Python 2.5 and 2.6, Blender 2.49b, latest pyffi and ColladaCGF. Everything went ok up to the point of importing the .cgf into Blender, which only ended up with this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Or if somebody could convert the lmcl_cash_weddingdress01_body.cgf found in objects/pc/lm/mesh/mesh_meshes31.pak into .3ds or .obj and somehow send it to me, I'd be grateful. :rolleyes:

Can anyone tell me what folder/pak file contains what stuff? Like in what pak file can i find weapon/armor models and other stuff like helmets and everything?

Does this method will work on Tachyon The Fringe mods? I've search google but I can't find anyway to open the .pak file. I hope this method will work.
