Well it depends on the person, some just want to be safe when using the hack because there's a few files that send out the sample of the hack during the patching sequence, hence the patcher bypass is needed for them, plus during the KOM hack days, the patcher bypass is necessary, and I mean come on, who want to wait a patching sequence when you already patch the game?

Actually, there is a need of this. EVEN AT THIS TIME.
Specially when your client is always downloading even it gets fully patched previously.

Also, when you have some modifications on the client (e.g. Graphics)
Simple things can also make big changes. Just like this easy bypass.

btw.. I'm using my own patcher bypass which includes checking of files. (Offline)
If it detects some missing/wrong files, it opens the patcher.
(The files are listed on an XML file where the patcher checks your settings.)

also it means ther has also a sd hack or any hack?

Its only a patcher bypass. Means it starts Grand Chase without using the patcher. (grandchase.exe)

btw,this is still work with GC all version?

This isn't really an exploit of sorts, just a thing to do for ease, so I'd assume unless it started to become needed for hacks (well, it used to be until the dll era), this will stay working.
