You could only get it from bonus boxes and since I will be re-assigning the rewards to each bonus box, I shall make sure to miss out Jackpot.
You're correct, it'd be useless in offline mode.
Private server mode could be fun though, instead of Jackpot, everyone fights for like 500,000 uridium instead? The possibilities are endless :)

omg this is amazing imagine if you could burn like a copy or somthing then let people link up your server to play d.o on you server with your rules idk anything servers coding or anything like that, thats why i sound like a total noob but looks amazing !!!

It will not allow you to have a private server where people can play with you, but it will allow you to play DarkOrbit offline, so on your own server.
It does have a lot of bugs and you all must understand that it is not ready for full time use obviously... But it will show you all the potential of this whole project and just how far it has come! :)
Sunday, late in the evening (UK time) this early build will be available to download, so watch this space.
