Why bothering doing the same thing but in a more time consuming way? The outcome is the same, although the second method(ASM) is just time inefficient(assuming it's something hard/complicated to do) compared to the easiest option.

Security, some people don't know how to change the size also learning asm is better than recalling some files, we don't realy care if our server starts today or in 6months, we got time and want to learn from the files
