Personally not sure, seeing he charges a sub for the updates and everyone wants it for free and give nothing back.
Also the one off cost is high, so people are avoiding that also.

Also if you mean the addon, no one is stopping you from updating that.

Hello,

I'm sure this is frequently asked and apologize in advanced. I'd like to take advantage of the RXP guide for Classic Hardcore. What do I do after I downloaded the file? It is just a notepad with a bunch of gibberish.

Did you download the file? How is a addon be a a notepad with a bunch of gibberish. Would really love to know because no one else thinks that.

What do you do? Well you install it as any other addon.

I'm used to downloading addons through curseforge so that it is done automatically. I'd find it really beneficial if you could walk me through the process from beginning to end.

I selected the link to DL the addon, it took me to another page. I selected the big blue button that says "Download (7.05MB)". I have attached an image what I received from that download. It was downloaded on to the notepad program and when I opened it up all I see are a bunch of Chinese (or some other foreign language). Do I drop that file into my addons folder?

It is a RAR file, so why are you trying to open a RAR aka archive in notepad for?
Obviously I don't know what I'm doing which is why I have asked for help.

I opened the file prior to you sending the link. The link says nothing about a RAR file. You asked why I opened up a RAR file and I answered.

I say again. I did use the link. It does not mention a RAR file. Unless I am downloading the wrong link I am unsure of what I am doing wrong. Looks like you're not reading my messages because you do not seem to understand what I am telling you.

Oh, you think your attitude is not hostile?
You chose not to look up how to open a rar file, instead, you use notepad? So you blame me for not looking up 1, how to extract this file, and 2, how to install an addon.

Honestly, if you cannot look up how to open and how to install. I have no idea how you even installed the game, as that is harder.
