Notepad is causing afks after last patch/last version.

I wonder why you have notepad open....

lol I have Notepad Open becuase you made the run.bat to open the notepade so tell me why?

to be honest I don't use that run.bat for ages.. and if it's there opening the notepad its kinda of stupid, and you can edit easilly the run.bat to do what you wish right?

I guess in the begining I used to kill the explorer to save some RAM when was using WinXP.

Now I just put the NHC4.exe shortcut at the startup of the PC so when I the VM starts it runs the NHC4 immeaditely.

well i was told to run the run.bat since nhc4 its opening the runbat

is ther no need to run rhe Run.bat with win7 ?

No, you can just run NHC4.exe and that's all.

i can but is this good? i run 24 vms with win7 with 1024mb ram on a 4770

Can you help me to configure the VM? I want to run 6 VM w7 on a 16 gb Ram PC, cpu i7 (3.40 GHz), and most important NO SSD. So, can I?

Found solution for you :p Now you can run Win7 Tiny (that you get from torrents).

create a bat with the commands:

NHC4.exe -ITPSilentActivate
NHC4.exe -ITPSilentRegister "XXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XX-XXXX"
exit

run in the folder of the BOT, XXX its the license ofc.

6 VMS in HDD I think that should be possible but why you dont try it :D

I only use SSD so I can only give performance tests based in SSD. No SSD people are free to try...

There is a nice tool called processexplorer from Microsoft that I use to check all that stuff (screenshots before).

If the IO of the disk it's at the MAX you can have somekind of "freeze" effects. In the end depends on the speed of your Disk

My FAQ it's getting bigger and bigger :D lol

So 512 is minimum for stable running or 400/300 mb ?

i have cpu on 60% but ram on 95% with 1gb ram per vm so i want to change it

You can run 12 with that CPU, easily. I can run 12 with 16GB RAM, HDD, and a i5.

Sincerely, CPU makes a LOT of difference. No surprise nhcoohrh was able to run Windows 7 on 512MB with a 2x Xeon Core 8 - that CPU is nuts.

By the way, to everyone who uses HDD - "defragging" your VM helps performance by a lot.

i use an amd 8350 cpu/256gb SSD/16 gb ram
i run 18 bots on 512mb and i've tried running them on 450 and they all crashed so i just keep them all on 512 now. if you're using an HDD you'll need to use atleast 1gb each from what i've constantly read in this thread.
