Worked without police in freeroam for me. Thank you!

If any one is interested and like to do the drag events you can do them single player.

Just want to mention that the other drag races you cant play single player can be done using the same method like the team escapes, so you can do your favorite drag races using the meeting places events, these are the id's for all the drag events so far, the ones that have traffic listed in them have single player mode the others can be used in the meeting places just edit the
374.xml (The overlook meeting place)
378.xml (Riverfront Stadium meeting place)
60.xml (Stadium meeting place)

in it change the <EventId>xxx</EventId> to the id of the drag event you want to run.

Here are the drag id's
Drags:

id 499 - Backwood Split (Drag, Standard NFSW, Traffic) SP
id 500 - Breakneck (Drag, Standard NFSW, Traffic) SP
id 503 - Arch Rush (Drag, Standard NFSW) SP
id 504 - Neon Crossroads (Drag, Standard NFSW, Traffic) SP
id 510 - Burrows (Drag, Standard NFSW)
id 511 - HWY 142 (Drag, Standard NFSW)
id 513 - Gridlock (Drag, Standard NFSW) SP
id 517 - Loop (Drag, Standard NFSW, 2 Racers)
id 525 - Downturn (Drag, Standard NFSW, Traffic)
Ones I got id's for that weren't in the list I have from the forum
id 501 - Speed Fair (Drag)
id 502 - Rockport Turnpike (Drag)
id 506 - Chinatown Showdown (Drag, Traffic) SP
id 507 - Tram Underpass (Drag)
id 509 - Breaking Point (Drag)
id 515 - Skrimish (Drag)
id 516 - Runway (Drag)

Just wanted to mention this for those of you who like to run the drag races that don't have single player and AI opponents do race with you as I have tested a few to make sure. I added SP to those that have single player mode the others without can be used in meeting places events like I mentioned.

EDITED:
Ok I just tested this and the unlocalized string drag (down by Beacon & Station sprint) thats 524.xml can be used like the meeting places to run the none single player drag events just do like mentioned above.

Just thought I'd mention it to you if you want to add that event for people who use team escapes single player...

I wonder if we can use that unlocalized string drag event to run the others that have no single player like the team escape one. I will check it out.
EDIT: Just tested this and yes we can use this drag event to run the other drags without single player. Awesome!

Nice fixes, thanks!
nice!, i will try this with Late Departure, i miss that TE

As far as I know it's totally possible add or substract gears, however it's not possible with VLTEd yet. You can do that only by Hex editing the attributes.bin.

CHANGELOG v2:
- added "Unlocalized String" Team Escape in Central Rockport (has single player data so it's playable) (thanks GlideImage for this one!!)
- added "Omega Industries" previously Unreleased circuit, nearby Oil Refinery in Camden (no map preview, but perfectly playable, no bugs found) (thanks Hypercycle for the trackid list!!)

Hate to sound picky, but you see, I asked for this as a patch (as opposed to the attributes.bin itself) because I have made several changes to my own attributes.bin. Plus I use a June 2013 build of World, and I would imagine the attributes.bin you've built these performance modifications on is for a much newer build of World. So again, If it isn't too much trouble, can I ask that you share these performance changes as a separate patch, and not an attributes.bin? Or at least explain what you've modified, and I could create the patch myself, for personal use of course

You mean, export the changes i made and send you those files no (*.nfscfg)? Yup... it will take time, but i'll do this anyways... I have friends playing 2013 build, so make this will be useful for other players. I can pm you with the things needed to change in attributes if you want too.

Day/night cycle in game server settings

I quoted this from official EA forums to somewhere in between the 235.863.498.743 pages for the Offline topic, but I guess this info should be in a separate topic for easy finding purposes instead. So here it goes:

"It appears that the actual cycle time is 5 hours 40 minutes, with a pad at 00:00 of 1 hour 20 minutes by switching from day back to dawn, so that the first night occurs at 04:35 instead of 03:15 and shifting each day. If I remember correctly, a few years ago, the day / night cycle was 5 hours 40 minutes without a pad, so that when night time occurred varied from day to day with the pattern repeating every 17 days.

Start of night in game times based on entering and exiting garage. If going through a tunnel, or teleporting, the switch to night mode may occur about 1 minute earlier.

04:35
10:15
15:55
21:35

During a night period, the game may switch to a bright moon or even dawn like lighting at around 20 minutes after the start of night mode, then back to night mode 30 minutes after the start of night mode. The night mode lasts about 40 minutes."

Thanks to this info, you should know that if you want to start the game in nightmode, you should set the in-game time of the servereditor to 4:35 or 10:15 and press Save before you launch the server+game.

Times after 12:00 won't work, since 15:55 will appear as 03:55 in systeminfo.xml, same for 21:35, it gets noted as 09:35.

I have no idea because no matter what time I set and save it always starts at night for me, I always have to wait it out for the day time if thats what I want!

Firstly, I say thank you for everything to the mighty modders

I have a question to which I couldn't find the answer in other posts or threads. I don't think it has been already answered before :p

In a pursuit, is it possible to modify the duration of the heat levels? For example "heat 1" has a duration of 1 minute before switching to "heat 2" which has a duration of (if I remember correctly) 1 minute and 20 seconds.

I tried to stopwatch the first three heats (it sounds stupid I know) and search for the values in attributes.bin but to no avail. Maybe are they stored in a different file or did I fail completely?

Or even better, modify which police cars appear in a certain heat.
I just want to mess with cops a little :D

Then try to edit www\nfsw\Engine.svc\systeminfo.xml manually to change the <time> settings, perhaps the file is read-only on your system?

Code:
<Time>2010-01-01T06:35:00.0000000+00:00</Time>
would do the job to make it day for you.

I replaced in attributes.bin heat levels 1-5 to 6-10 (they don't have unique cars) and they're much longer
