Warum sollte Eterhost schlecht sein? Sie wurden nun einmal angegriffen, kann theoretisch jedem passieren. Ein Teammitglied hat sich einen Virus eingefangen und so konnte der Angreifer Zugriff auf die Hostmaschine erlangen. Als es bemerkt wurde, haben sie alle Server vom Netz genommen, um größeren Schaden zu vermeiden. Eininge VM's wurden gelöscht/beschädigt (nicht alle sind betroffen) und nun müssen sie halt ein Backup aufspielen, was sich etwas zieht, da es ~6 TB sind. Desweiteren müssen sie überprüfen, ob alles soweit wieder in Ordnung ist und wieder einwandfrei läuft, dann können die Server auch wieder an's Netz. Soweit ich weiss, gibt es auch eine Entschädigung.

Eterhost ist nicht schlecht, sondern wurde eben einmal angegriffen! Shogun ist einer der wenigen Leute aus der Metin2 Sektion, der mit der Professionalität herangeht, die ein Administrator eigentlich haben sollte, dabei meine ich seinen eigenen Server (World of Metin2), das Forum, wo er Administrator ist und eben auch Eterhost.

Nebenbei bemerkt, für alle, die wissen wollen, was bei Eterhost gerade vorgeht, möchte ich euch hier einmal den Link zu ihrer Facebook-Seite posten:

Deshalb macht es auch keinen Sinn auf derartiger Basis anzufangen ;)

Reason why Gameforge hasn't acted since then was because their infringement department felt that going after the culprit is not worth their legal effort; more usually the culprit register the solution with shady hosting companies having anonymous identity. The show is starting and getting more interesting as it seems. :D

Hello Christopher Chia, yes it's getting interesting: you fail every one of the games you release (Tale of Titania, Rise of Metin, Metin2 PH, etc) so you try to destroy the work of people who are actually competent enough to attract players. It's amazing how you have the guts to call people who are just developing for the game they like "criminals" when you dedicate your life and efforts to destroying the fun of players and wasting the time of honest gm and developers instead of taking care of your own dying business.

Now you went a step further and destroyed or tried to destroy the work of a lot of people, just because you have a rich daddy and you feel like you can do anything because you live in a small dictatorial country in the other side of the globe.

Let me get this straight: you don't have players in your SG server because it's crap. No updates, an amazing level of corruption, and a staff made of hackers instead of developers. The fact that your forum is a default template since a year, says a lot.

When SG opened, Gameforge placed an IP block on it, because Chris was advertising the server (with false promises) in every Gameforge forum. After the IP block, there was only about 100 people playing, one of them was me. At that time I saw Gameforge as the bad guys because I believed in Chris lies, so I made a little program to bypass this IP block and distributed it around. I also brought my guild to play there and encouraged others to do so.

Several months later, with already 250 players online, I was invited into the team. By then, the company was making loses every month (in fact I wasn't even paid at first). I made a plan to reduce costs and increase sales and a year later SG was earning 20,000$ monthly.

So in case you don't understand what I mean: SG would have been closed long ago, if I wasn't there.

Yes I have DDos WOM2 one time, 4 month ago. Isn't my fault if someone hack him <.<
