Quote:
#1. Drop a small pile of Dil on the ground.
#2. Use the scanner to take a Capture of the Pile.
#3. Press the Fill button and wait for it to finish.
#4. Now press the sort button, when prompted to remove duplicates PRESS YES.
#5. Now take the Sorted Results and copy/paste them into a seperate text file.
#6. Repeat the Above process for 2 more piles of Dil.
#7. Now your seperate text file has the results of all 3 scans with duplicates removed. Take that list and paste it into the top textbox of the scanner.
#8. Once again, press sort, this time choose NO when prompted to remove duplicates.
#9. Scroll through the list and copy/paste every relevant color that appears 3 times in the list. (this means it was in all 3 piles of dil). Paste those results into a separate text file. NOTE: Do not copy all 3 occurrences of the color into your text file, only 1 of each.
#10- Repeat steps 1-9.
#11- Now your text file contains 2 lists of colors that each showed in 3 piles of Dil. Copy/paste both lists into the top textbox of the Scanner.
#12- Once again click sort, this time select NO when prompted to remove duplicates.
#13. Now copy/paste all occurrences of relevant colors that are listed twice. (means the colors showed in all 6 piles of dil).
#14. Your text file should now have a small list(4 or 5 colors). Now it's time to test those colors 1 by 1 using the scan; script command.
15. Find the one or two colors which find dil more successfully and those will be the ones you want to use in your scripts.
I know this is a long process but it's the only way to find the few unique colors out of THOUSANDS of random shades found in Dil Piles.
