dang... i swear this worked for non weapons just a little bit ago cuz i was finding a bunch of ref/uniq items with this, but i guess they were all weapons... i decided to pick up a few random items, found out that one of them was elite (non-weapon) and realized OMG it doesnt work! then i come and read this :(. tq really knows how to ruin our fun.

1) it isnt a .exe (anymore) but ends in .189
2) when I putted .exe behind the downloaded file:

Only weapons? please no offense, but what is the point? you can tell when most wepons are elite/super/uni and stuff anyway by the color...

anyway, is vista compatible yet? because i belive vista dll files and others in a completely dif folder, and the program didn't use to compensate for this or give an option to browse...

Purple, go ahead and start writing a program that does this including armor... You will quickly see that "It... Is... Not... Possible" Unless you write a full-fledged hack that pings the server to identify the data and then based on that changes the look of the armor, then I think the "Beggars can't be chosers" saying plays well here.

The reason only weapons are able to be seen is TQ has fixed all other items from being able to be seen like it use to be from what I hear and the reason this helps is say your in BI and all the crap is on the ground it helps you look at just the important weapons so you don't have to waste time looking at the colors of all the weapons on the ground when theres millions of crap laying around due to all the archers ^_^

im having a problem with this, everything works fine except, it dosent seem to detect elite items for me, ive reinstalled my CO client multiple times just to try to get this to work, i cant seem to find the problem. btw im playing with v5069.

sorry about the noob post, after reading all the comments, it was a piece of armor i was testing, i didnt know this didnt work for armor, sorry and thanks for this hack its still helpful to me.
