It is either that host or I have to keep on changing the links, rehosting, all the time and using my time because people do not want/cannot use this file host.

Yeah i understand, thank you for the efforts you are putting to maintain all these files. Will from another location maybe its not blocked

Or it is installed, the addon was run and it created the saved variable ahd dud not load fully.

So I would delete the addon. Go to the saved variables and delete the file.

Fully extract it and should be no issue

i did that with unarchiver. i dont have any problems if i add addons through curse tho. it happened before aswell when i tried to manually download and add addons aswell.

just tried again. i even deleted the addon folder and cache but still doesnt work. is it maybe the way the mac extracts it?

With curse it uses zip files age hosted in their server.
I have used .rar for 23 years due to a few reasons.

So the issue is, finding something on max that will either convert a rar file. Or upload to a file converter online and convert to zip.

Or find a free app to extract a rar file.

Okay. I could make it work with an online unpacker.
Seems like it didnt extrackt the file proparly on the mac.
Now it works perfectly. thanks alot :)

I unpack it with The Unarchiever. Works like charm on my Mac.
