I've used wp with chrome, it is just really specific in what needs to be done to get it to run.

this is another example of where if you don't know what you are doing, you shouldn't try to use it. you do not need to disable things with xp. this is not a kbot thread, but a wp thread.

i have to disagree with you. pilesos is the vacuuming script. btw, could you possible make your font on your signature a little smaller. it takes up 1/2 the thread page. lol

can someone help me please? when i start WP i can't enter in DO... the DEP is already disabled... please someone help... i'm using XP SP3 and mozilla firefox... i've already tried to use google chome and opera... but the same error appear... when i click in start i get DC... someone help me please!!

i can't desable the DEP, i tryed everything =(
when i try it, it said, fobidden by Administrator and stuff like that... =/
even when i go on my administrator account, i can't desable it. I'm on Windows Vista. Please help =/

Please try to upgrade to win 7. Vista can't disavle the UAC so its heavy for me to understand. When i cime home today i will look up how to do for vista. I even don't know if the DEP is intergrated in bcd or in a file like in XP.

all of this is in THE FIRST POST. Upgrading to windows 7 is an expensive venture. it is obvious that if someone is looking for something that is free, they can't afford, or don't want to have, to pay for an upgrade to an operating system. omg, maybe you should read the manual too.

On top of that, I've seen several of your posts, it appears that you are just putting in posts to up your number of posts in the forum.

telling ppl that chrome doesn't work is ridiculous. the only reason the connections would break is because things have been moved from the native location they are put in when the package is un-rared. It is more than likely an operator error of some kind.

If user account control (uac) cannot be turned off, there are posts all over the internet that tell how to do that. the same with data execution prevention (dep), all over the internet. all of this has been addressed multiple times in this very thread, it just requires some reading. you know, the whole reason the forum exists.

the stuff that you are saying is for people that are computer technicians and programmers, one who understand software, hardware, networking...

if it doesn't work or can't be figured out in one, changing an os will not solve the problem.

the questions have already been asked and answered. reposting them does not need to be done if people just read the thread.

and if you can't get this to work, maybe you shouldn't be trying to.

Have you ever seen how long the Thread is?? I think no one would read the whole thread only to find a solution. Making mistakes is human. And there are enough cracked versions of win 7 on the web. I also will download win 8 when it comes out because it's a grey-zone of law.

I have two laptop, one XP and the other Win7

In the XP I can use the wp and it work perfectly, but in the Win7 it doesn't works :S
