A word of caution: using the TELEPORT feature to WP, HP, POI, and VISTA might not result in an immediate permanent ban on the first offense of being caught, but it does draw attention to your account from my experience. Back in September 2023, I was experimenting with the free version of GW2X because I was considering getting the paid version (which I eventually did, and it’s now a must-have). Out of curiosity and because of the frequent comments about the risks, I specifically wanted to see the consequences of excessive TP use. So, I used two alternate GW2 accounts, playing them through a VPN from two different NA locations as a test case. On the first account, I used the auto TP feature to all the locations in the original game zones for map completion, which teleports you through everything on a map in about 3-5 minutes. On the second account, I manually used the TP function, completing a map or two a day with about 10-15 minutes between each teleport. The first account (rapid map completion) received a 72-hour suspension after 4 days, while the second account (slow manual) got a 72-hour suspension after a little over two weeks, with its character sitting at around 85% map completion.
What I find interesting is that while both accounts had suspensions, which means they should be flagged on ArenaNet's radar for past violations, they have had no further issues despite me using them for other activities like speed hacking, flying, pro gliding, clipping, going under the world for long periods, unlimited stamina usage on mounts, or having the accounts auto Pro Fish for days on end in hidden pond locations. I’ve been using them as farming mules mostly, by having them Auto Pro fish farm and then sell the fish for gold. Then laundering the gold by buying items that my main accounts are selling for inflated prices in the trading post thereby transferring the gold to my main accounts.
Honestly, I already knew most of this was possible because I've been doing it on most of my boxed accounts (except for the mount stamina and fishing) for about 8 years without any issues. The two TP suspensions are the only issues any of my accounts have ever had, despite playing since GW2 launch and admittedly pushing my luck many times. That being said, "TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT!"—there is always a risk of getting caught, and you must be willing to lose any account you use these kinds of exploits on. I just wanted to provide an honest perspective rather than just saying "don’t TP, you'll get banned." It seems that ArenaNet is relatively lax with their exploit detection systems and overall enforcement. Most positional stuff like speed, flying, mount stamina, and clipping appears to be controlled client-side, but their servers do flag you if you start TP jumping around maps to certain locations like Vistas, HP, POI, etc. So be careful, and if you really want to complete map completion quickly, maybe consider using unlimited stamina on mounts to travel quickly or speed hacking under the world where other players can’t see you. Again, only do this on accounts you’re willing to lose because there is always a chance of getting caught. I can only speak on my own experience.
