Has a virus...

Event: Threat Found!
Threat: W32.Gobi
I've noticed that there are some virus scanners that report it as a virus. I'm not sure whether they are false positives or something else. So far I haven't found anything unusual lurking around my system.

I've checked on VirusTotal, and they report nothing on most virus scanners. Anything it does report seems to be a false positive. Hopefully I'm right about that. :?

Status:
POSSIBLY INFECTED/MALWARE (Note: this file was only classified as malware by scanners known to generate more false positives than the average scanner. Do not consider these results definately accurate. Also, because of this, results of this scan will not be recorded in the database.)

wow that guy really knows how to protect himself from free-users and patchers ._. Damn I dun even see windows have that sort of protection lol
btw, this virus won't destroy your computer :P
it's a "bot" and i don't mean a CO bot lol i mean it has hidden in it a irc bot that all the stupid script kiddie coders like to make and infect thousands of people e.g. agobot, phatbot ect ect this is just a modified * cleverly but not clever enough* varient of these bots inbedded inside the program and just like these other bots if packed/encrypted/scrambled properly no antivirus detects them.

Once this is executed it is run as a service like any other bot runs on every startup and owner can use your bandwidth/PC (and 10K other peoples at same time depending on how many others are infected with it allready ) to do ddos attacks, steal accounts/passwords/cdkeys/ect ect and once it's on your pc it begins automatically scanning other ip ranges and auto infects other vulnerable pc's with various exploits in xp/linux and then uploads itself to those pc's and executes itself on those computers that is how it spreads So actually it "does" harm your pc.

The coder is a dink and i pity him for thinkin he could hide a pathetic kiddie virus in a conquer bot just to infect people with ddos bots i thought kids had outgrown those noob toys by now,I guess i was wrong.I am willing to bet the irc server it connects to is just a highspeed connection itself ( usually a 10mbit line or faster edu's usually ) infected with his bot and using it as a irc server for all his other infected bots to connect to via a DNS redirect because most irc shell companies tend to frown upon doss bots connecting by the thousands to there irc servers and will report it.

I wouldn't recommend anyone uses this that values there bandwidth and private info on there pc.I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole.
