Mostly, people like you just want their donation points back
(at least most of them hope for them at a wipe) or they just like to play the start of the game over and over again
(maybe for the nostalgia?).
But please, it's not helping to wipe a server for every little shit. Wipes can be helpful, if everything in-game really got fcked up. Most of the long running servers did it in the past. However, this server is up for.. 3 months?
Specially, when they rolled out a huge update with new content which kinda "restart" the progress race.
Also
(when im already commentating), a player drop from ~400/600 to 200/300 after the release is absolutely fine for every private server or game/genre. Take a look at bigger online games which shows the player/sub count, or look at steam charts. There are games gaining over 100% more players after content updates like DLCs. People are joining, people are leaving.
That's why you add new content to the game. Which some people here also doesn't like. :facepalm:
