If you decide to go public, be opensource. In that way, the botting community will not die as long as the bot is maintained by someone. (Ex: OpenKore)
And with that said, if its detected, it will be updated. If gameguard updates, someone somewhere will find a new way to bypass it again just for the project to continue.

You know what, you can start a ElitePvPers BnS Bot Project and ask for a sub section in Blade & Soul forum.
Then you moderate that section. With that, you can just make the "Core" of the bot and let the people who wish to use to further develop their plugins.

Example: You release the core. People develop their grind bot, craft bot, quest bot etc...
Think of it like LeagueSharp.
