Yes registering your work right away is smart, especially if your planning on selling it like I do.
If you registered your source code in the database then it is registered either to your name solely, or an entity representing your name, or and entity representing two or more people. If it was in your name signing over rights to websites and such does not release your rights to the work.
Which would mean that if you so pleased you could issue a cease and desist order to elitepvpers.com to remove the linkage to your work which you didnt authorize to be released. The website displaying links to the content, as well as the server the content is hosted on could receive daily penalties until they removed it.
Honestly none of this is hard to do either, just a bit of paper work and a cheap (but good) lawyer.
That's all FYI stuff tho because it doesn't look like you care anyway :P
