That is great news for me.
I am poor folk, and have really grown attached to NFSW, as it runs decently on my modest ASUS, and it is quite fun to play, mutiplayer wise.
I honestly hope this project develops as planned.
I do not blame him for not wishing to work on beta 1.8, as 1.7 is good enough and will keep us satisfied until said dedicated server is released.
There is no real need for him to work on beta 1.8 when said new project is much better, simple logic.
I completely misunderstood what said new project was to involve, I think he hates me now for creating unneeded constructive criticisms because I misunderstood.
I truly admire him for wishing to keep it F2P and I really hope his plans work out and enough people support it, by buying the boost.
I also hope that boost will not cost more than I can afford to pay, so I can help with server costs.
I am such an honest person that I would beat myself up, to use said server for free and not even be able to afford boost to help support it.
It is obvious that he is not doing this to get rich, and only doing this so we can play muti, and again, I have no idea what it costs to run said server but hope it generates enough boost sales, to keep the server alive.

Back to the main topic, the ability to prevent the famous game hacks from ruining the game, is a huge plus in my eyes.
