I've been looking around, and we have gotten too many moderator that isn't doing their job, so I really think the forum should do the right decision and not pick a random one.

Well, I think you should only apply for a Moderator if you really want to become one. Not just feeling like "All right, I can become a mod, will be nice I guess", but really wanting to become a Moderator.

And, he is allowed to post here as much as he feels like, because his not posting off-topic, problematic or advertisement.

If it wasn't for him, you, and many others would probably still be coding in html. Correct me if im wrong, but isn't he that pretty much took the responsibility of cracking loads of code, reversing encryptions, packets, and client disasm, etc (whether it was him directly, or friends of his)

Agreed. However, that doesn't make him a good moderator.

You went too offtopic with this application, i can tell :facepalm::

1) Moderating is something that doesn't require except a little experience in the game included in the section you want to moderate. I can even add that experience in some cases is not even required.

2) An application is for voting Yes/No (showing the reason is not needed except in No, however, if it is a case sensetive reasons are needed), it is not meant to be a discussion thread.

3) Fighting the members who voted No because they did so is a BAD reaction i must tell (look [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], these are some examples of my own application)

4) I see the same users who already voted discussing stuff in this application over and over which is not really needed.

For fuck sake! Make him mod!

He is probably the only one who knows much about conquer and coding and still wants to be a mod.

Korvacs would be a great addition to the mod team. He has been working on Conquer for years now and is very familiar with the game play and how it works. He is proficient in coding, which he can use to help assist other people (whom actually want to learn). In addition, this community needs more mature people, and Korvacs is mature (and capable) enough to handle the amount of childish bullshit these sections endure day in and day out.

I haven't seen Kinshi88 do much (by posting recently), and since I can't see logs, I don't know if he is truly here, so I won't criticize there. But for the other 2 mods, that I can see whom are posting and active, Tanelipe is the only true mod that knows the fundamentals of Conquer. I am not bashing Mio, as he is doing the mod job just fine (closing/moving, etc), but Tanelipe, at least what I think, is the only active mod at the moment that is fluent in the way Conquer works and operates.
I believe Mio moderates other sections, which takes away his time for monitoring the CO2 section, as he's not a dedicated mod (again, not bashing/complaining). If I am wrong, then I am sorry for my assumption.
So, with Kinshi still out of the equation (as I don't see him posting), that leaves Tanelipe as the only full time mod for CO2, which I think is not enough for this section. Even then, Kinshi has no where near has the knowledge Tanelipe & Korvacs know (which I believe is important to have a couple of mods know the insides of a game). Yes, he knows more than enough of Conquer to moderate, so I'm not criticizing him for his mod job. The people in this section tend to look at the mods as the guys who know a lot about the game, and that is exactly what Tanelipe & Korvacs have, that wisdom in Conquer...which will only further help the forum member looking for some help (that the existing community might not be able to answer or they answer before the members of the community).

Yes, you don't have to be a mod to share your knowledge, but what I am getting at is the fact that this section is currently made up a bunch of kids, immature, narcissistic kids that think the world revolves around them and only them. I have been here since 2007 and the general maturity level hasn't changed, the community has grown, and the moderator team (has been changing, but) is now only to 3 mods for all the sections of Conquer, with, again, in my opinion, only one truly knowing the core of Conquer.

Sorry if I made false assumptions, and I'd like to know ;o so I may fix 'em as I hate being wrong and sorry if I repeated stuff D=.
So there's my wall of text on why Korvacs should be a mod. <3

Korvacs has been around co part of forums a long time and is more knowlegable then most of the other mods for that section other then maybe andy, And he is always willing to help those that are willing to first help themselves ( meaning not just wanting to leech but want real help to learn to do it themself ) I have never really known kor to flame people or handle a response in a improper way at least not that i have ever seen personally i find him to be 1 of the better members of epvp then most in the co2 section.

Emme Was/IS ignorant and imature with people and dances around developement but really has no grasp of it what so ever other then copying others existing code and modifying it but cannot produce his own so really shouldn't have been helping anyone because all he did/does is help people to learn the wrong way to do things in development with all his releases.

Ditto goes for Kinshi he's a nice guy most of the time i have no issues there as to his personality and attitude but he also was/IS a poor mod and again has yet to really prove to me that he is smarter then a rock where co2 is concerned lol

I know that ability to develope for co2 doesn't really matter where modding is concerned as long as they do there job as a mod but it sure as hell would help alot more if they did for that section, And there might have been 5 mods "listed" for co2 but i think they are active maybe once a week if ever i haven't seen kinshi or emme doing any modding in mnths i only have seen tanelpipe accasionally popping in to close some threads and can't say i have seen much of andy either lately.

Out of all the applicants i have seen so far Korvacs definately has my vote because the rest of the ones i have seen are just butt kissers acting like fake carebears wanting mod and have no real knowledge of the section there applying for.

I don't want a nice butt kissing mod everyone likes the way i see it is if everyone likes you then your not doing your job correctly, co2 needs one that will finally enforce some damn rules around here instead of letting the co2 section become the clusterfk that it is now most of the time with 500 threads a day askin the same questions allready in a different thread topic allready and the constant spamming of server advertisements and no active mods doing squate about it.

Alot of the other applicants are new users to me and i been here a LONG time people come and go and i know korvacs has been here almost as long as me so it is obvious if he has stuck around this long he will stick around for longer and will be a good active mod.

So i say give kor mod allready give the guy a chance.

If someone deserves this position, it`s him. My vote is a YES.

I think Korvacs should be accepted as a Conquer Online Mod because he's very active and he also seems to help loads of people.

So, it's a yes to me.

Korvacs FOR MOD he really deservest it and he is a good for the conquer online community,

i don't personally know korvacs. but, i do know that he's 1 of the most qualified people in this section for a moderator position.

so, he's got my vote.

Seems the thread as been turned into a majore debate about you. People with personal issues should really be taking them to pm or msn. Although i was going to defend you, since theres been posts in this thread that i disagree with mainly because its offtopic. I won't, since it would only carry the flames on.
