Remove the added files try again
or just get a clean resource.s4hd file from the download "S4.7z" (i think...?)

yep and also drag all files from the "official _resource folder" ind the "P Server _resource folder" because he need that resource

I'm the client on my friend's server...Another friend joins normaly and plays normaly with him but I can't join the server I get this error:
failed to connect to authentication server error code 7942
my firewall is off...I changed the ip to the host's hamachi ip
he made me a new account
still getting this error after 3-4 mins of "connecting" msg after i login...I don't even see the server list!

EDIT: I also tried to redownload the client but still the same eror
