Is anyone else able to reproduce my problem of the Unable to parse hotbars error after switching characters? I've reinstalled the game and reset the config folder, disabled guildwork, changed my non-unicode default from Japanese to English, and I still get this problem after switching characters.

Maybe the numpad assignment can cause this problem?

Could be the numpad keys. I'll check into that tonight.

I had this problem but I managed to solve it by swapping the numpad keys with the other ones.

So instead of having cast and hook on Numpad 1 - 4 just put it on regular 1 - 4 and it should work. (using v.0.9.7.)

I found out that a macro called "Mooch" has caused this problem. I used this fishing macro to combine Hook & Mooch/Cast. After i renamed this macro it works without any problems. Have you a chance to detect macros to except this skills from being used?

Yep, the numpad keys don't work. They should, but for some reason sending scancode 0x61, which is numpad 1, appears to press the A key. It's not a bug, per se, the bot is doing the right thing. It just doesn't work.

I'll keep researching it to see if I can figure out why.

Edit: Maybe it's a numlock thing...

I can see where that might be a problem. I'll see if I can figure out a way to determine whether a button is a macro or an action. The information has to be there. Finding it is the only problem.

Detail of capture after relog:

1. log in all the way, 9.7 works.
2. Do various things, wait for discos which have been very consistent since 2.55, (90002)
3. Log back in, test bot, parsing error.

This is English Client, Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

Having a problem when I try to mooch

[9:35:57] Bot stopped!
My mooch is on my 3 key, so I don't know what's wrong

Hey, i'd like to help you get a working version for non-english games out. What translations do you need, just the fisher skills? If that's so, it's easy to do since you just need to go to XIVdb.com, navigate to one of the skills like Cast, then change the site's language (with the little flag icon to the right of the search / menu bar) - it'll translate the skill.

If it's more than that, i can at least provide german translations, but you can get the french and even japanese skill names via XIVdb this way.

Can I get a screenshot of your hotbars? Also, make sure you don't have a macro named "Mooch".

Hey, thanks for the offer to help! I'm not quite ready to go down this road yet. I still have a couple of bugs that are more important.

I'll try xivdb.com for translation though, thanks for the tip!

I hope you get around to it eventually, i'd love to try this bot out!

I'm spending some time trying to figure out why numpad keys don't work, even though I'm sending the proper scancode. After that, I need to try to figure out why people are having a problem with parsing hotbars after returning to the login screen.

After those two things are fixed, I'll look at doing the translations.

I got an error 'index was outside the bounds of the array'. It was on catching a HQ fish that was the next to last one for the weekly challenge.
I did not get an error when completing the HQ challenge.
I did not error out when completing or reaching the 'One more left till' in the NQ Challenge.
