What if the R of SRO-R doesn't stand for Reborn but for "roa" which means two in malagasy?

Not sure about Arabian Race, but why/how do you think that SRO II is a lie? Why would they make posters of it? Why would they announce the making of it?

as for what we have seen in the client, arab race could just be an expansion, not a race in a whole
but SRO-2 has been confirmed when Joymax started buying new licenses(not to mention it is said on their homepage

With the launch of “Final Odyssey” in 1997, and our knowledge of the gaming market, Joymax’s R&D department has been continuously growing and improving. Joymax’s first game “Final Odyssey” was the first Korean RTS (Real Time Strategy) game to be exported to the Japan game market. With the launch of “ATROX” in 2000, Joymax has laid a solid foundation for global service and game publishing by its distribution in 11 countries, including England and Germany. Our R&D department is focused on developing games for a worldwide audience. In 2002, the full 3D MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) “Silkroad Online” was developed for the domestic and international market. Our efforts continue to this day.
Silkroad Online was awarded the 1st place award in Technological Innovation at the 2005 Korea Game Awards for its tactical and strategic A.I system, scalable and reliable network engine, intelligent LOD (map, object), and unlimited capacity scalability, combined with top notch graphics and first rate game scenario. While continuing to develop the Silkroad product, The development team of Joymax is also developing "Silkroad Online 2 (temporary name)" to follow "Silkroad Online," and "Web Silkroad Online (temporary name).“ We are putting all our efforts into developing a game that maintains the advantages of "Silkroad Online" and includes new added fun.

Well personally, it should take shit tons of Time to create a New Game, keep in mind that creating all those Objects and Systems won't be completed in just 1-2 Years.

They "Maybe" entered the Stage to create the first things based on Concepts (Mostly most Stuff we won't see in the Final Version, like always )

Im sure Joymax already have a pre-Alpha Version of SRO2. Area, Mobs, first Skills etc... PathEngine ist just an Engine for NPC's (and maybe Chars - Autorun like RoM) so they wont stuck on objects, finding a way around them or finding the shortest way between 2 Points etc... that they bought it 2012 doesnt mean, they working on SRO2 since 2012. Maybe since 2010.
