Okay, here is some of the positives I saw.
You're a Guardian, this shows that you are a active reporter.
You look active.
But here are some negatives.
Your English isn't great. That's fine, as you can easily (well, it might take some time) improve on it.
You don't know any German.
Now, these can be 'solved' just by giving you time. As you said, you are learning English.
Even though my vote won't matter much, I personally give you a no at the moment.
After your English improves a bit, you have my vote. You can be a good mod!
Just practice a bit, I'm sure you will get there.
