If you have only 70% rez, its looks normal to me. A knight at around lvl 80 could probably hit 8k. probably more if he use WC. With only 70% rez, you absorb 5600 dmg, which let him hit you 2400. Of course then, the defence and crit resistance come into action to lower those 2400 even more.
But don't listen do Apnea, physical resistance do affect crit dmg, since crit dmg are physicals.

for me it looks normal too ^^
an other solution could be the amount of partybuffs which the knight could have because in battle square you can go fullbuffed if i remember right (wasnt in battle square for 1 year)

and yes there was a way for high levels to reduce their level to 1 and keep all high level points/skills and level to the lvl they wanted.

guys in bs 6th floor there are so low mobs 3 4 on a spot
