revolution263, this post is the reason that noobs like me are able to learn the basics of setting up p-servers. Thank you for this post as well as the help you gave me to set it up! Is there any chance that you could update the download links with the newer server and client files? I've found some good ones and updated my server, but for some others, it would be great if they could still use this guide until they figure out how everything works. I'm past the "setting up the p-server" stage now and working on editing my DB files to suit me (with alot of help from these forums).

Fuck dude.... I have trying this myself to see the problem. I can't figure shit out. I tried re-installing wamp, trying a different version. Nothing. I don't see why it wouln't. Before I would just put the folders in C:/wamp/mysql/data and that's it. Maybe you could post a new thread asking about it. Sorry I couldn't help.
