...I'm the Administrator to the computer I'm running it on, by the way, so there's no reason this should be happening.

Though you are the Admin , you still need to Right Click on the Serverlist > Run as > Admin ...

There you go .. ;)

Didn't work. I'd like to hear from the person who actually made the ServerList, rather than one who didn't contribute to it's release.

" rather than one who didn't contribute to it's release "

Iam not asking for a thanks ... but ... is that what I get for providing you with the solution that I know it did work with most vista users around ??

Its True that I didnt contribute on making this server ... I hope I was actually ... :p

However , in my LogSro Thread , I've got around 3 to 5 pages of replies due to some difficulties in dealing with this same Server List !! ;)

Yes... and I replied that I would rather get an answer directly from the source. That was addressing rumata, not you.

By the way, I never said I was a Vista user... if there was any confusion.

All I know about the permission problem is that it occurs with Vista only , So far ...

What System are you using ? Linux maybe ?

Search sequence for media.pk2:
  1. Currect folder.
  2. Registry (value InstallPath in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Joymax\Silkroad" key).
  3. "C:\Program Files\Silkroad" folder.

I think you have incorrect InstallPath value in registry.

Thank you. Is there any way I might be able to correct the registry so the InstallPath is right? I already tried reinstalling and it did not help.

I looked at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Joymax\Silkroad" in the Registry Editor and the Data value was "C:\Program Files\Silkroad".
