the lawsuit had been going on for years, but i think they didn't actually know who owned ring-1 / made the cheat only identified some resellers and some support staff member.

Scammy behaviour indeed but mostly your fault, i only used aimex on apex back in the day and on mw2019, they seemed very inconsistent at that time , long ass updates for apex and no info about it.
But it clearly states DMA only, they should’ve refunded you indeed but pay attention next time, if it means anything i wouldn’t buy from them already but now looking at your experience, i wouldn’t get anything from them ever.
Look at the cod cheat, never updated it, it’s like if they simply don’t care or don’t have a clue on what’s going on
