What is Release 2?

You extract the file I provided to World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns

Release 2 was the folder created by unpacking since the .rar file is called Release 2.1.29103.rar

Now I moved the files from
World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns\Release 2
to
World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns

Still no change. I start the game but no Zygor add-on is found

Do I need the official Zygor client in addition for this to work?

As I said, you extract the folder from the file
You do not change the folder name and no you need nothing else.

For others with similar issue:
I use a Mac. I had to try 3 !! different unrar programs ... the only one that worked properly, meaning extract all the files from the .rar including the correct main folder was from winzip.com.

Never thought the unrar software is the source of error ...

guess it's changed now, because those are 3 seperate folders atm (like always). when i downloaded it yesterday it was a merged folder with all 3 (v4.5.7-Era-Classic-Retail) and the GuideList.xml had those lines

Now I do fully agree with you. I checked the rest but did not check that part. But still did not load like that for me or anyone else.

But I plan to upload 1 for all. Saves me making 3 of the same addon, just to post it 3 times.

Great point ty. As I was thinking they literally loaded them in game, when they are in another folder.

classic era seems to only have 1-20 with the latest RXP upload

Well I help and called autistic. From a guy that cannot install a addon.
When someone that is autistic can install it.

We all know their true intention. That is why I do not respond in the same way.

Also we all know "those" people do not want the content posted. That is why they lurk in the background and bait everytime. Probably why in 2 years they said nothing and when they do, it is insulting and flaming.

Why is it 1-20?

People choose to use old software to extract a file > Claims addon is not full.
People choose to use the wrong software > Claims addon is not full
People choose to use software that does not extract rar > Claims addon is not full.

If people use the right software and updated it and used latest software on new archives, they would have no issue.

But when people blame the file for their lack of actions. Maybe they should look at what they are doing before they blame others for it.

hey 911sky, i appreciate that you've kept this up despite some difficulty and ingratitude you've received. i didn't mean anything by it, i used 'seemed' because i was partially assuming it may have been an error i made. thanks for the guidance

edit: in the guides subfolder it looks like the lua files titled classic appear to go into 20 then the other titled guides look like they're for wotlk or retail

No my issue is, you said that it is missing and nothing else

Do not say what OS
Do not say what software
Do not say what version

So I am guessing what the issue is.

Seeing 90% of the time, it is because it is not fully extracted.
But people choose not to say, so I am here guessing what the issue is.

Win10, 7-Zip, RXP 4.5.7, it worked perfectly with all the other versions i dled including 4.5.4
