providing i can get it to do what I want it to the next release will address the following...Quote:
Sorry Alenos, gonna have to leave this one up to JT, as I don't really know a way around this. I think JT implemented the pause for cooldown times, but I'm not sure.
Edit: Well, there's your answer :p Thanks JT! hehe
The ammount of time it takes to run in range to use (force chips and other pulling ability)
Cast timers (attack skills force chips healing spells and buffs)
Cool down timers (attack skills force chips healing spells and buffs)
Recast timers as needed...
now that I have the bot successfully using timestamps to control a particular function, I feel confident I can make it do that with other abilities. I am slowly going to integrate the timestamp into all of the bots abilities. Once completed I am going to seperate all of the abilities into sections. You will be able to select how many buffs or attack skills you want to use casted by who and set the appropriate cast timer and cooldown/recast time you want the spell/ability to be used on. Force chips and pulling spells will also have a seperate timer for running in range in case you are out of range when the skill is used. I already implimented this for force chips, and it seems to be working well.
I also learned of a command named /position... gives you your coordinates on the map... only if I could get your bearing somehow...??? Granted I would still have to teach the bot to read this info, but it is a major improvement as I now know how to tell the bot WHERE it is on the map... now I want to be able to tell it what direction the camera is facing...
