Your choice of words is interesting. When you're talking about people receiving bans, you used "tons of people in your Discord reporting perma bans", but when you're talking about the ones who are fine you said "a few select accounts didn't get banned". Why is that? I didn't mention how many COD users we have, how many got banned, how many didn't and how many have had their ban reversed, so you don't really know, it seems like you're filling in the blanks with whatever you want from a very limited bit of information you've seen via somebody who isn't even a part of proofcore, which I don't think is entirely fair.Quote:
We all saw directly or through leaked Hapa clip tons of people in your Discord reporting perma bans at the same time. There weren’t ban reports in any other provider chat that day. That’s called a targeted detection even I know that. Doesn’t matter if a few select accounts didn’t get banned that’s usually how it goes.
How are you defining "few" in this instance? A few to me is more than two, but not much more, perhaps three or four, but it wasn't such a low number that to this day haven't been banned. When I say some people didn't get banned, I'm talking numbers substantially greater than that, similar to the amount that experienced bans, so it would be more accurate if I were to use the words you used and say "tons of people did not get banned".
This is exactly why I said it the way I said it in my previous post. If every user got banned I'd just say something like "Sad news: We got detected, sorry to those affected. We'll be back, we'll keep you posted." or something similar, but with this I said something happened that was noticeable, but I'm having to make an educated guess about it because so many are fine. Since we both have the same level of information, I'd appreciate it if you didn't give the impression that you know more or try to frame it in a misleading way.
ItsHapa posted something weirdly similar a month or so prior to what you mentioned too, to which he said our cheat was detected and all of our users were banned, when at that point, there wasn't a single ban at all, so that makes me wonder what's going on with that. I called him out on it and he kept saying I was lying and playing it down, so I don't fully trust the information people are feeding him, sometimes it's right, but sometimes it's definitely wrong. I still enjoy his content though, it's funny.
What you saw on the media he posted on X was a small portion of people who were saying they got banned because people generally only talk in the Discord if they've encountered a problem, or need a hand with something, meanwhile there was also a similarly sized portion of people you didn't see who remain fine to this day.
I'm not saying we haven't got a problem here, obviously we do. I don't want anyone to get banned, I just want people to understand it from my POV and to be fair. It's not always black and white and while people may have an idea of what they think is going on, no one truly does unless they're directly affiliated with the game. We're all guessing how they operate behind the scenes and yes, we learn stuff as we go, but we can't be absolutely sure of anything.
