Great work on the bot.
Up untill recently i have been able to use it without any problems.

But for the last few days, once it has logged in it says "Locating farmers" etc and it takes a really long time to do all my cities and sometime it just gets stuck and does nothing before it evens starts to farm or build etc.

I'm on french server fr24 and Hades is activated so their are 5 gods.

Any ideas ?

Reconnect fixed. It was caused by the birthday event.
Version: 2.1.8.4 Date: 22-09-2011
Bug fixes:
-City overview. Hoplite and archers where switched.
-Bot no longer crashes when one of the gods is disabled.
-Cultural event “birthday” will no longer causes reconnects.

Hey,
i also want to thank you for your fine bot. It really helps a lot to handle this annoying farming.

I checked the complete thread but was not able to find an answer to my question. So i hope it is okay if i ask it here.

Whenever i login a dialog opens that GBot wants to download a file index ( unknown datatype ). And whenever GBot ( 2.1.8.4 ) relogs, i also receive this dialog. Obviously it does not know what to do with index. Maybe because it misses a .html or .php. The Login nevertheless works but GBot will not work until i klick cancel.
Is there something i can do?

The download dialog is because of the new login system, you can just cancel that. The bot will however just continue after a few seconds you don't have to press cancel.

what are the reconnects for?

They are needed when you get disconnected from the server or when the server has some error.
