Yea agreed, the surveys are seriously asking me for my phone number and address and all sorts of stuff that i dont want to give out. And i really enjoyed using cofr33dom :(

Maybe if CoMediator's download was made less annoying? :p

Then i would be very grateful! consider the fact that most of us dont really want to give out personal information, but i understand it makes you money in the proccess. But if you could just do me the favor of going easy on the survey stuff id be super grateful!!!

For the meantime, we have to be creative/imaginative to use this tool now. My cofreedom 1.3 is now working fine with my "reverted" client 5278. For those who have not done it now, go and try it.

how do we revert the client?

No need for reverting just a bit of common sense is needed >.> The problem being that TQ are EASILY able to see what processes are running and they WILL see cofr33dom running in processes!

There seems to be an issue with people trying to run cofr33dom with the latest patch but I am here to tell everybody it STILL works.


Ok it is really really simple right click cofreedom.exe (which should be inside of your Conquer folder) then go to properties, at the top it will tell you it is cofr33dom replace that with the name of another program such as a messenger or firefox but make sure it is written the same way as the program. To check exactly how things should run open up firefox/IE explorer then open up your task manager and look for firefox/IE explorer running in processes. The properties part will be under Image in the processes.


When you put Firefox/IE explorer into the properties of Cofr33dom you will NOT need to put .exe!


Now we need to change the description of Cofr33dom, this is also important because it also says cofr33dom in the description thus TQ can see it! You will need a program called reshack for this.


Open reshack then open cofr33dom.exe with it (If you have done properties correctly then you will be looking for firefox/IEexplorer or whatever you changed the name to) then when it is open you will see some things in the left of reshack, open up Version Info then open the folder 1 and you will be left with a symbol with 0 next to it click it once.


You will see it saying file description this MUST be changed to correspond with the properties of cof33dom.exe (or whatever you named it to) we will use firefox as an example. Open windows task manager again and look for your REAL firefox that is or should be open (you are reading this so it must be open lol) right click firefox and open the properties it will tell you what the description of Firefox should be and it shows me "Firefox" which means that in reshack the description will need to be Firefox or whatever other prog you decided to copy [:)] When all this is done compile script in reshack then click file then save and everything should be changed, I hope this helps.

I won`t be answering questions on this as I have explained everything about it already and if you can`t do this and need help then you should not even be here.

ehm dude, reverting takes like 1 minute, so why download programs and stuff?

Revert then it`s no problem to me lol. I just keep updating without NEEDING to revert lmfao EVER. Takes me an update and log on whilst you still revert. Besides how are they going to botjail me when they check my processes and it doesn`t contain cofr33dom at all? Just because people get around it for now doesn`t mean to say TQ will not find another way. Why do you think COFarmer started changing the process information? It`s called covering all angles lol
