i found this on google
Well whaddya know--- I followed Troels advice and IT WORKED! The errors are gone. I didn't have Visual Studio so I used a program called Resource Tuner which was able to also accomplish the same thing (edit the built-in Manifest directly on the EXE). I saved a backup just in case, and once I removed the following section from the Manifest:
<dependency>
<dependentAssembly>
<assemblyIdentity type="win32" name="Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" version="6.0.0.0" processorArchitecture="*" publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df" language="*">
</assemblyIdentity>
</dependentAssembly>
</dependency>
...the errors disappeared!
This was one problem that I couldn't figure out for MONTHS. Took someone a lot smarter than me to get the answer-- thank you so much! :)
maybe it can help? hope u can read it lalaker
