Understanding HWID ban/ shadow bans

a couple of months ago my main account was permabanned, later my new account was shadow banned and after that I play for a long time and did not receive any shadow ban, can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Does Activision do IP Bans as my newish computer is HWID tagged despite never acquiring a permanent ban. I played on my brothers account for a bit about 2 months ago which received a permanent ban last week on his computer for using a different cheat. To clarify I haven't used his account in the last month or more

Every new account is instantly shadowbanned after 1 game that is how I know that I've been HWID tagged.

So my question remains has Activision started to do IP bans

No they don't do IP bans.

You basically have answered your own question though, seems like your brothers account got you and your PC caught up. Which is kinda scary when you think about it but yeah, no IP bans.

they dont do IP bans. I have the same its a ban ^^

Hello, I'm new to all this. My spoofer got detected and my account got a perma banned with alot of other people's.. It was a brand new pc with this be hwid banned now or flagged. I made a new account yesterday with no spoofer and pp played 1 games and went on it today and it's shadow banned.

Is my hwid flagged or banned?

Yeah you're HWID banned if you got hit with the INF detection.

Isn't INF back up though?

How many SB/perma bans to an account lead to an HWID ban? Is the first ban an HWID one right out of the bat?

I've had multiple perm bans, and I'm not HWID banned, maybe I am just lucky.
