i have tried it now for a few hours and it is working better now than before the new protocol update.
I haveno less freezes , but there's still 'lagg', slow response when sailing etc.

For me it wont work.
Glims is only 20 sec and than is stops.
Atacking ships wont work at all for me.
The only thing thats working is See players on a tugga lamp.
So i hope it wil get fixed so i can injoy my Golem haha
