Thx for implementing the lucky time notifier!

Found a small problem with 1.46. When you minimize to system tray sometime the icon will dissappear from my try and I cant bring the gui back up. I have to ctrl-alt-del to close it then restart it.

Now that you mention it... that's what probably affects me as well. I don't remember what exactly I did BEFORE that (but still, it happened at least a couple times), I noticed that I was expecting to se m8 somewhere, already running, but it wasn't anywhere, so I just thought "huh, let's start it", but when I did I got the "CO2m8 is already running" error. That leads me to think that, in fact, I had minimized m8, forgot about having done it, then when I went to check it again, since it wasn't in the tray I actually thought I never started it in the first place.
Anyhow, that leads to a request I made some time ago already (before my last time quitting CO :D), that is, having m8 display more than one column for char info, thus occupying less vertical space but being larger horizontally (height of m8 is what makes me minimize it, otherwise I may live with it); but I also remember back then joek told me it was something really complex to implement with the GUI language he uses; so, if that's still the case, nevermind.

Well spotted cyberside0, yeah there does seem to be some situations where com2m8 starts without a tray icon, think I've fixed it will test a little longer before releasing it though.

@ephe, you do have control over both vertical and horizontal sizes of the co2m8 GUI, however on review of my code it seems that at some point I made a modification to expand the GUI vertical size based on the number of clients logged in as opposed to limiting it to the value specified in the C menu.
If will undo that in the next version, thus allowing users to regain control over limiting the GUI's vertical size.

Oh no, I find that functionality most welcome ;) In fact, I don't think you should remove it, or at least, if you really want to, you should add a "dinamically resize GUI size" checkbox. What I was referring to, is the possibility to have, for example, 4 clients open, and show them in m8 in 4 columns instead of 4 rows. So (still for example), all the menu buttons would be relocated in order to fit a 1-row vertical size, and so would also the client. It would become a "CO2m8 bar" which is thin but large, and doesn't cover a narrow, but vertically important, part of the client.
If there are 8 clients instead, you could have 4 columns and 2 rows, or something like that.
But then again, I remember you telling me, back then, that it was something very complex to implement.

Hi JoeK,
thx for the lt-notifier, it's very helpfull. But the voice notifying is a little *mumble, mumble* (displeasing).
If you can spare some time on changing this, it would be gr8.

Hi Joek,
Non-DMA does not work for me. Health is all screw-up. Mana is ok after DMA defeat.
05/19/2008 19:01 ephe#773
Now that I checked it, with DMA defeats on (but still using the less invasive method to find HP) it reports 196984 as HP value for every char. Warriorchamp wrote somewhere that there isn't always one method to find HP, and that he found 4 different methods so far, changing periodically.

This belongs here instead of project central, I guess:

Not sure if this was covered or not but here's my bug report:
When a new account is created, if you simply click on the account "NEW_0" or w/e it is, then click on the shortcut to start the game (we'll call mine "Play" that simply starts the standard client with blacknull thru ur config) the char info is not updated in the acct list with the Name_Server. However, if you click the game shortcut first THEN dbl click the acct it will rename NEW_0 to CharName_ServerName.

Also, m8 was unable to reload mana by pot on F2 when the usage mana depleted it to exactly 0. The pot had to be clicked manaually, and then it started working again.

You must hae DMA defeats turned on!

New co2m8 v1.47 for 5025 released.

Fixed the various issues found by people, thanks guys!
Let me know if I missed any.

Reverted back to the original HP detection system so you need to use the DMA defeats for HP options again.

@daveq, good job finding those two, now fixed.
@gta74, sorry haven't fixed the LT voice yet.

Ahh now I see what your getting at, yeah that is rather tricky to implement.
I don't really have the time for a major interface change like that at the moment, something for the future perhaps.

I've taken the dynamic resize out for now, but will make it an option in the next version.

BTW you could always use transparency if you just need to see whats under the covered area.

I remember well then ;) No big matter, the tool is a jewel as it is, already.

I downloaded it and will have a look at the tool asap, for now I am idling heavily on the CO experience, as the lack of minimized bots (which you don't have to pay for, I mean) makes my will to play go down pretty fast.
Don't want to steal resources just for TG, and I hate to do the same thing a million times over and over, as it is needed to level up in any (MMO)RPG which is not The Elder Scrolls :D
