Sorry to hear that.

How long was the bot running? Any advise for us from your experience?

I didn't run it for more than 12 hours at a time before restarting it, but I pretty much had it running 24/7. I suspect that the decreased number of bot users present due to the recent GW update made me more susceptible to reports/bans.

It's something I should have realized when I started seeing posts about non-pvp bots being banned, but I didn't really think it could happen to me until it actually did. It was, however, worth it and fun while it lasted.

you are already aware that in pre a gm plays actively and his
daughter even the change there to get banned is very high, so blame yourself

Yeah, I mean I'm not upset, lol. It was the only form of botting I was enjoying lately, anyway, so it's not a big deal.

Sorry for your loss Jamamon. Hopefully it was not your main.

I have been working on some functions and techniques to reduce the risk of getting banned but no matter what you do if they pull your log records and see that you have been farming the same spot for 119 hours (I would have gone longer but DC, lol) then you will probably get the ban hammer.

Try not to bot for too long and try to switch bots often. Its also helpful to edit the scripts and adjust some minor settings like the MoveTo and Waypoints so that you have a unique path that is not identical to other bots in the area.

Was going to say the same thing about the paths and rotate the bots that are farming. I do 4 per 8hrs and rotate to a different 4 and keep that rotation it's about 2 weeks before it's back to the original 4. But also not running 24/7 and dont have the same paths and such as the public releases amongst other things.

I Had 5 accounts banned the same as you 'cause of JQ bot...
But they let me my 2 accounts with many hours on pve form (R6 gods walking amongst mere mortals ....)
I think my error was to not play anything else than JQ on these 5.....
i just do PVP avatar and set JQ bot on them, maybe if i had done the history a little bit...
