[RELEASE] WORKING Fixed Serverfiles+English gameclient!

Hello Zero4Zero about vista problem, can't help ya, about me, i have static IP all ports are forwarded changed all ip's and i've made same like when i was using hamachi, but it doesent work, i think is something with launcher thing..im almost sure about that, most of server have crypted launcher so i can't figure out what im doing wrong and what to do to work without hamachi.

[ps:] with hamachi works

may try and get the launcher vista compatible tomorrow if do get to work i will upload it here

I noticed in my data.pak there other ips and theres a command line in there C:\Users\ross\desktop\blablabla and more stuff and theres an ip in there not mentioned should i change those aswell to target everything right and change all the ips to either my hamatchi ip or 127.0.0.1?

Put where 192.168.5.07 is and replace with ur hamachi ip in data pack, server filles /share
and the 2 ip's from p-conecter server alll with hamachii IP

@darkmatter: Uh good question... but I would just randomly say change it to your hamachi IP since 127.0.0.1 is the local host, so your own computer...

@tommy4: if that was targeted to me, I have no problems using the launcher on vista, my problem is rather with the ip adresses. If you have enough knowledge and of course if that is even possible try to make the dekaronserver.exe compatible on vista, that would spare me the whole vmware thingie haha :)

@kindland: really? You're sure that it's not the lan-ip you're talking about? Normally private users don't have static ip adresses...
Since, if you really had a static ip adress and you filled in all the ips in the right places, there shouldn't be any problem from incoming connections (if you have the ports forwarded of course)..
Anyways, if hamachi works, why not use it? I mean it's not quiet the smoothest method, but at least it is one, right? :)

ive done that 3 times, but when i load all the files nessesary and go to load the p server connector my server dont show up in the list anywhere

Just a guess, did you change the list.txt in the WebServer/web folder?
I forgot that in the beginning, so the server didn't show up at all.

It doesen't work Zero4Zero for some reason client is made for hamachi only.. so i need to find a launcher,minilauncher like any other server thatis not using hamachi, with hamachiis to much lag..
well darkmatter i have read this topic about 50 times and did same mistake im sure somewhere in ur filles u haven't changed an ip.

Well the only suggestion I have left for you is to try it with a no-ip adress... I experience less lag with no-ip than with hamachi on my ro-server.

Just ask me via message or something like that...
(just for your info, ro=ragnarok online... doesn't really have a connection to dekaron but I thought the packet sizes would be about the same so the lag is eventually compareable)

Oh well, got it working on vista now with the virtual machine...
I can log in, create a character, choose the start location, but when I actually want to connect to the game, I get thrown back to the login screen... Anyone has a proposal for me?
edit: - Wait a sec, just realized that after all those editing the ips I forgot to put the ones in the dekaron server ini back to the right ip... let me test :P
edit2: yes, that was it, server running smooth now, just looged in... only got a graphic bug on my segnale legs hahaa... they look weird..

Like I said, just try using a no-ip adress..
