[Video Tutorials] Shaiya EP4 Private Server By Omega

i did everything in the windows 7 tutorial and i deleted the gamewar like it said and i can load everything fine and i can get in game and log in but when i select my server it sits there and then gives me a message saying failed to connect to game server.
i dont know what i did wrong since i followed all of your steps and back tracked to make sure i was doing it correctly. any solutoins why i wouldnt be able to connect to the character creation menu?

Services go to a green arrow, but then back to pause
This usually means the services were unable to connect to the database. Check your logs in D:\SHAIYA_SERVER\SERVER\PSM_Client\Bin\Log and D:\SHAIYA_SERVER\SERVER\PSM_Client\Log. These logs help tell you of problems with services starting, so keep that in mind for future problems.

the files are clean, turn off your norton programm and it should work ;)

Sometimes AV Softwares give a so called "Fake positive" it doesn't mean that the files are infected, but if you don't want to be on risk, you can always test them on a safe environment, I would suggest SandBox to do so ;)

Thank you verry much for this help full tuturial, I did everything as explained, i searched around using the SEARCH button but still could not fix my issue, everything in the Server Patch Config (PSMserver_mgr) stans Green I I and when i start all they go to > but nearly emediatly they go back to I I is there a fix for this? or something i did wrong :/ my SQL server config manager is running whitout problems i Enabled every IP in the TCP/IP and all the Protocols are Enabled too.I can connect to the DB in SQL server management Studio express whitout any trubels too this problem is the only thing bad happened, Thank you for you greathfull tuturial !i hope some one knows a fix ;3

This has been answered in this thread already also.
To delete the files go to C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\batch\ and Run
shaiya_svc_stop.bat and then run shaiya_svc_remove_all.bat

Then delete all Databases from SQL Server and you can delete the C:\ShaiyaServer Folder

IF YOU ARE USING Windows 7 or Vista Disable UAC Before Running The Bat Files Then Re-Enable UAC.

is it important to install it on C:/??

You might get issues if you install it on any other HDD, still you can try

If you do not install it in C:\ you will need to edit all the ini files to show the new location that you installed to.
