Patch 5001 is released and it brings a new itemtype.dat.

I'm working on patch 5001 now.
They added 15 new items for the Thanksgiving quest.
I will post as soon as there done.

Scary as it seems TQ seems to be learning and releasing the patches later and later

is there any way i can learn how to do this myself?
i do heard about the decrypt program that output a 10000+lines file, which even i have some sort of idea how to change the names, it will take time to complete.
so is there any sort of hints or programs that make u update so fast every time there is a new patch?
i want to make an itemtype that only shows super,elite items and tokens
other items show "blank" or "spacebar" as name since i bet most users doesnt really care an normal item like deft boot or...Dragon Necklace lying on the floor

Well I had thought there was a guide on here a while ago about how to make your own Itemtype edit. Not sure If it is still here however, I will try and search and get back to you, btw a1blaster keep up the good work, lookin forward to gettin this bak, was almost done moonbox lol, needa know which tokens are which now :P

I'm starting on editing my Bracket version now.
I'll be leaving the Uni's, Eli's, Sup's and Fixed weapons and armor items in, the rest (normals & Ref) will be replaced with spaces.
All game and quest items will be left too.

@Real~Death > Ya, there will be one (new itemtype) next month for Christmas quest.
Then it should be good till February (Valentine's quest) and March (Easter quest). :p

yep, thats sounds like a good idea
but i still feel dumb to download your patch everytime without knowing how to do it
i am interested in how things work more than the game
update works great again =)

theres to many text in the first post i cant even find witch link to download to get the edited item type -.-
would be appreciated if some one could provide me the link :)
