I ended up rmting for the first time in over 1 month, went through thanku on g2g, chose mail and then received a msg from thanku that he wants me to go through ah, which i did. Next day i decided i needed another 100k after buying over 200k from thanku. I chose a different seller and used mail. Roughly 10 hours after receiving my 100k in the mail i got banned with the perm ban message, wrote a ticket and was told its a 1 month ban. My theory rn is that at the moment mail is very risky, which is why thanku asked me to put something up on auction house, because like i said 10 hours after receiving 100k through mail i got the ban msg. They didn't tell me how much they caught me for or if i will get gold reset, only told me how long the ban is.

I have bought plenty of gold auction house mail not banned but never on g2g , but even my two sites I use say there gold is legit but are now saying we are not responsible for what happens. I think they really really cracked down. I really wish we could put some more info together and actually help each other

It’s kind of destructive. I’ve never in all my gaming time seen them crackdown on buyers so hard. I’ve seen games take the currency back occasionally. But usually you go after the farms. It’s really not a great way to handle the RMT fight.

So i just sent them another appeal about an hour ago and got some type of automated response with my ban length, which funilly is 1 day longer now than what they first told me, but they also mentioned that they won't give me any details. I find this a bit weird considering how many people are told how much rmt gold was traced back to them and so on, but for some reason all they told me is that i am banned for cheating.

Appeals have gotten me nowhere.

I just recently got banned from using aoeah just a 36hr ban but my gold got wiped

Smartest way to buy gold atm is to take a break for 1-3months without buying and then buy once or twice max. If they catch you will only detect the gold u got recently not the old ones.
