i’ve bought around 1 mil since launch on g2g from alotofgold. but i believe AGS were only able to start tracking these transactions after either the march 24th or 31st update. not sure if it’s the sellers problem or if all are affected.

at the time of my 3 day ban i only had about 2k gold and that was gone after i logged back on. pretty sure they wipe all of your gold at the time of ban

Just made an acc to say, I've bought about 1.5k worth of gold on G2G since beginning of march. Mainly through face to face/AH and no ban. Bought from various sellers (15+). I have also been buying gold up until today even after the patch.

Everything has been smooth no problems, until today, which is my main reason for making an acc here.

Avoid buying from someone named DTS2010 on G2G.
I listed 3 different types of gems for him to buy, 10k each.
Took him 15m to reply back to me after I sent him a SS of my listings, and within those 15m, someone outbid all my gems (only my gems, even tho some were cheaper to buyout) and someone also put up the exact same gems with the exact same min. buy/buyout price, and the seller ended up buying the other gems that was listed since my gems had a different min buyout cause someone bid on it.

We had a minor argument and now we are waiting 48h for G2G to get involved.

I've had almost 40 transactions within march alone and this is the first time this has happened. Maybe it was just bad luck and someone sniped our transaction, but I would maybe consider avoid buying from this person.

From my experience and knowledge I think AH is safer... At the very least it is a transaction of item and gold. Although you can argue it's a public transaction so ppl can obviously see that 15k+ T2 gem which is abnormal (but AGS doesn't know that, high chance they don't know the pricing of market items)

Mail is private but it's a one way street where you seemingly get sent gold for nothing, no transaction.

I feel like if you were to get caught, AH is way better to talk yourself out of/is more convincing that it's not RMT.

But at the end of the day, either method has a % chance to get caught.

If so - which seller and how much gold did you buy before you got banned ?

Alotofgold on g2g, rpgstash bought around 1.5m since launch bought 20k on gold last transaction to alotofgold and got banned 2 days after everything was via mail

20k last transaction and spend it the same day and got banned after… bought on g2g alotofgold rpgstash

Same thing happened to me but I was lucky and had 300g LOL wiped

I have never bought from alotofgold on G2G and I've been safe so far...
Everyone on here that got banned seems to have alotofgold as a common seller
