@shizzlethe: of course u're absolutely right when u say "don't cheat for nothing".

i can also understand your frustration about beeing banned after 1 day... but i can just say what i know -> i start it everytime, but use it only when it's neccesary to escape a kill from a mob or simmilar stuff. while i'm watching tv and wowglider farms for me syndrome is still running cause when i want to play i just want to disable glider and continiue. (jeah, i'm a lasy bastard ^^" )

i really don't have the slightest idea what got u banned. a unused BWH... mh... don't think so eigther. syndrome w/o using it and w/o beeing watched (ok, u never know if a GM is standing next to u) is not possible eighter cause i've would have been banned long ago. i guess it's one of the mysteries we won't solve anytime soon :-/

well. i used bwh on my first acc, which got me banned.
my second acc was uncheated.

noone saw me on that minute i was online. even if somebody saw me, it would not matter. just because i did nothing. i just activated nofalldmg, but i did not jump down anywhere.
i assume warden scanned the bwh folder that was placed next to the syndrome folder. that was my own stupidity. forgot do del that shit :/

i guess, bwh is on blacklist while syndrome isnt yet

heh, funny. that was the exact reason why my first acc got banned. i was logging in to find myself in silithus, next to some ugly mob that was out to kill me. i didnt want to fight and no ghostrun, so i ported away.
stupid me, because at this time silithus was quite new still. some gm saw me and closed my account. nowadays, i still count "escaping death" to one of the reasons countable as "cheating for nothing" because i would never ever risk my acc for this :(
or at least not with bwh, which must be something ashatred by blizz. of so much ppl here havent got banned with syndrome, it must have been that old, non working bwh ..

Well, the hacking community have given me alot and this is my way to give back to it. I release new versions for practice mostly, but also because it's a challenge to piss Blizzard off...
It's also nice to receive critisism on your work, even if it's bad... what better way to make ppl evaluate your work than release a tool for a game that 5 million users play? Taking shit is all part of the project where you push youself doing a better job.
Sure, i don't get payed for making Syndrome, other than some casual donations, but money is not the point in this project.

Syndrome is just a small project compared to the future project i aim at, where money WILL be the main goal... but one needs to start small to hopefully become big, right? ;)

i got a mail from blizz today.
this mail confirmed that syndrome is, in no way, related to my ban.
there must have been a ban tide because i heard of several other guys who got banned.

my ban was reasoned with heavy violation against their gay eula. (btw who seriously expects some gamer to read all that crap?)
i got banned because of "activities" in october 05.

i guess that is one more proof that syndrome really fucks warden.

u got banned bcos yu got reported from other players, + most probably the bot, cos thats how i got my trial account banned ^^
